I Love Life - a look at the past few weeks

Halloween was the best!
We went out of town to visit some friends,
and our kids got to go trick or treating all together.

They came back with full buckets!

We've been busy with homeschool, and house hunting-
more about that in a future post...

But I will share two things that I've been working on-

First, is  5 minute artisan bread refrigerator dough.
I LOVE it - 50 cent loaves of amazing homemade bread,
with only a few minutes of hands on work required!

Isn't it pretty?
I found this simple white bread recipe online,
and Jared bought me a book with more recipes,
which I can hardly wait to try.

A few days ago, I noticed that we'd have a cold front coming our way,
and decided to harvest the rest of the herb garden.
(I'm so glad I did, because it is snowing as I'm typing this post)
There was so much, I decided to try dehydrating everything.
I am so pleased with the result!

We have Mint and Chocolate mint (above) for tea-
they are so delicious!
We also processed oregano, thyme and parsley for baking.
Marigold made some stuffed shells this evening for dinner,
using the oregano and parsley...what a difference from the store bought stuff.

I am so thankful for the small things that make my life so happy and full.
