I Love Perks...Spouse Flight

I was able to go on a special "spouse flight" with Jared's unit.

I've really wanted to see what it is like to fly in a Blackhawk...

and No surprise, it was fun!

We flew from West Jordan down to the Provo Canyon,

then past Sundance and Alpine back up to West Jordan.

The views were amazing!

I might never get the opportunity to go again,

so I'm very grateful it all came together :)

I was on the first flight of the day, so the blades weren't going when we boarded.

We finally moved...only to land a few feet away and do some more tests before take off.

Visibility was phenomenal 

I could see the provo temple from here...but It didn't show up well

I can highly recommend taking a helicopter ride!

Jared went to Philly as part of a business trip...

I Love Parties - Mermaids

Marigold has turned 7!

We had a little "girls only" mermaid party to celebrate

We decorated with twist balloons 

All the girls got mermaid fins and sea shell hair clips

After games and going on a sunken treasure hunt with Ariel,

they decorated their own cupcakes.

Fun Times!

Some of the girls were so young...oh well, they'll grow into the tail ;)

Marigold's bottom bunk was a "secret underwater cave"

Marigold chose to have a purple octopus...of course!

The tail dress ups were two sided - teal...

 and Pink!

Happy Independence Day!

This year we celebrated by tie-dying shirts,

painting faces,

decorating bikes and having a parade,

BBQing

and of course,

staying up to watch fireworks.

But we didn't do it alone!

We invited everyone in our Quad who stayed in town to join us.

It was a blast!!

we made firework hat crafts at the library

so pretty!
