I Love California - part 1

We took a week and headed out to California for a family vacation.
Mom came along to help out
^_^

The drive down was beautiful!

I packed all Disney treats and games to get them excited!

We made it to Azusa!
It was great to see my Aunt Cathy and her boys!

We drove into Anaheim and checked into our hotel

Palm Trees!

Our hotel had a king bed in one room
and a queen pull out with bunk beds in the other room...
This is hands down the way to go when traveling with kids!

The next morning it was time for Disney!

I made them matching Ts - easier to spot in a crowd
Cute too!
Speaking of cute...

Mom had Marigold for the day
(so they could do big girl things)

The rest of us stuck together
(to do little kid things)
It is fun to see what things both kids wanted to do,
and the differences too -

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride!

Caleb was terrified by the end
- bad choice Mom!

Pluto!

Carousel

Movie Theatre on Main Street

The Rocket Ships

This was Caleb's favorite ride

Possibly Ashlynn's too!

We both took boat rides,
But Mom and Marigold rode the riverboat,
and we rode the three masted merchant ship
Same beautiful view!

We turned the corner just as the Columbia
was unloading it's previous passengers
Caleb wanted to ride it, and there was no wait!
Perfect timing!

Going below deck was fun too!

Tarzan's Tree House

The Circus Train

The wishing well...

They took the Monorail...

We took the train

It's a Small World!

I kept looking for Edward Scissorhands ;)

On to TOON TOWN
Where they both ended up meeting Mickey!

Mickey's Garden

In his house

Worth the Wait!

Mickey's filming studio

Caleb was so happy!

Other Toon Town pics

Goofy's House

Sweet baby ^_^

Chip N' Dale's House

We both saw the Parade!

You can watch a fairly good video of it @ the link below

After to parade we left to eat at The Cheesecake Factory

Then we went together to California Adventure!

We stopped by Radiator Springs
to see the neon at night

We also went to the pier to watch
Disney's World of Color

It's spectacular!
In Marigold's words -
"Someone must've spent a lot of time on this!"

(You can watch it @ this link)

The show ended just in time to watch the fireworks!!

Perfect ending to a Perfect Day!
