I love Homeschool! - last few weeks

We're prepping for our next move

Really Fun way to use crayons and water colors!!
I found this online, and the kids LOVE it
Just write letters/numbers in white crayon on paper
Let your child paint the paper and the hidden writing appears!

I made a short multiplication worksheet for Marigold
using the same technique - She painted to check her work

Athens and Sparta in History

Studying seeds for Science

LETTER E WEEK

E is for elephant

Letter E folder

E is for egg

Number 5!

Studying ants for Science
We observed ants around these foods for 24 hours -
Journaling our findings was fun,
especially when the cracker had vanished in the morning
The kids were so impressed with the ants' work

I also made this a "life lesson"
quoting scriptures about ants,
reading the Grasshopper and the ant,
and discussing what attributes ants have,
and we can do personally to aid our "colony"

LETTER F WEEK

F for Rainbow fish

How Thunderstorms are formed for Science

Writing a paragraph stoplight

We played lots of dice games for #6

We're finally done learning about ancient Greece!
Check our blog again this weekend to see what we've done this week!
